The app, the detection engine, PostgreSQL, and a migration step that runs on every upgrade. Docker Compose brings up all four. A mid-sized company runs comfortably on 8 GB of RAM and 4 cores.
The key that encrypts every real value behind every token is created on your server during install and never transmitted anywhere. We cannot decrypt your data, because we never hold the means to.
No telemetry, no licence check, no phone-home. Detection runs locally, so raw text never crosses your network boundary. Point sitr at a self-hosted model and it runs fully air-gapped.
Database migrations apply automatically before the new version starts, so a schema change cannot half-land. Your data stays in your database throughout.
